Personal Training
First, set up a fitness evaluation.
This is a free session that explains the method and evaluates your current level of fitness. Call or email us to set up an appointment.
Second, complete the introduction to personal training.
Once you have done the fitness evaluation, you begin 10 personal training sessions to teach you the fundamental movement patterns you need for training. Your trainer will tailor workouts specifically for your current fitness level and progress you at the proper pace for you.
This phase typically lasts 4 to 8 weeks (as many times per week as you choose) depending on the consistency and intensity of your training, your diet, sleep patterns and athletic ability. The greatest challenge for someone new is in learning to effectively and safely execute the movement patterns under intensity. The magic is in the movements, the results are in the intensity.
COST: 10 sessions
$750 for 1 on 1 training
$500 (each) for 1 on 2 training
$400 (each) for 1 on 3 training
$350 (each) for 1 on 4 training
Plus HST for all prices.
The idea of adding extra people is the cost per session goes down and you can work with your trainer more often per week.
We can accommodate groups of more than 4 (we train many sports teams). Call or email us at info@totalbalance.ca and we can discuss the details.
Third, continue with ongoing training, either on a private basis or in a group setting.
Some people want to continue with private sessions to help them reach their goals. You are further taught the methodology that brings out elite fitness levels. You will be expected to train on your own, when not in session with your trainer. Your trainer will supply daily workouts that fit your level, goal and environment. You will further discuss nutrition which is the true foundation of fitness.
