Prenatal Pilates/Yoga

Pregnancy is a period of daily changes in the physical bodies of both the mother and unborn child, and with that, the shifting of energy levels, including both vitality and exhaustion.

Prenatal Pilates/Yoga draws attention to breathing techniques, movement, relaxation and meditation to support your pregnancy with ease and comfort. It also encourages body awareness and stability with strengthening of postural muscles. This is a well rounded series that aids in a comfortable pregnancy and complements the day to day changes.

Prenatal Pilates/Yoga is also an opportunity to bring women together to share their experience. The atmosphere is relaxed and warm. Women join the class at different stages of pregnancy, and it proves to be a valuable opportunity of sharing, support and fun.

The benefits of the class prove useful after the pregnancy as well. There is a foundation for healthy movement. And the breathing techniques and relaxation will help prepare the mother for the demands of motherhood.
